My name is Mike
My nationality is from planet Earth. Everywhere I travel reminds me of how deeply interconnected all human beings really are. Unfortunately, so many are not aware of this fact. Luckily, many of us still do..!
I’ve lived a life where travel has played a primary role. I grew up and was raised in three countries, the U.S., Spain and Mexico. Once an adult, I decided to pursue a military career, which allowed me to do some major travel. Then, completed a degree in business, opened (and closed) my own restaurant, and engaged in other business ventures. I’m currently based in the US. Over the years, I have traveled with my lovely family, friends, and also solo, to over twenty five countries located across four continents.
To me, this blog offers an incredible opportunity to be able to share with you a life-passion. The posts describe what, for me, have been unique moments and places. While not quite a travel guide (which definitely there are some great ones!), on this site, we intend to give you a personal, simple, down-to-earth experience and perspective on each and every trip. Also share good calls, even plain mistakes and misses. You will also notice a section named ‘Life”, where we include opinion-based posts about many life topics.
Over time, I have witnessed the travel industry go from a costly and overhead luxury, to a widely affordable, accessible endeavor. The technological revolution began, changing the whole game plan, and years later, when things couldn’t look brighter for traveling the world, a global pandemic hit us hard..
Today the world has mostly recovered from the virus, but other threats, including war and conflict has affected international travel. However, I still firmly believe that, with time, the future will be brighter than ever for travel. On a persistently size-decreasing world, possibilities are endless. Opportunities are truly boundless for you and for me.
